About Me

A Passion for Visual Communication

Since I was young, I was gifted with artistically. Drawing came easily to me and my parents even got me cartooning lessons from a local artist. It made sense for me to hone my talent and use artistry in my career path. I love using my skills to help people realize and execute the vision they have for their project and bring it to life.

My Career Journey

I got my BFA in Graphic Design at Iowa State University. There I learned everything from the universal principals of design to the graphic design pillars like typography, branding and logo design, packaging and environmental design, motion graphics and more. Since then, I have expanded my knowledge even more.

I believe to be a good designer you must never stop learning. In various different roles after college, I have learned new skills like professional photography, video editing, animation, and marketing automation.

I believe that my formal education and creative mind, paired with the “can-do”, problem solving approach that I bring to each project, are the reasons that visual communication comes naturally to me.
